Latvijas uzņēmums "Rannon" iekļuvis ES un Ukrainas aizsardzības inovācijas iniciatīvas "BraveTech EU" otrajā posmā

Eiropas Komisija (EK), Eiropas Aizsardzības aģentūra (EAA) un Ukrainas Aizsardzības ministrija pirmdien, 13. jūlijā Kijivā paziņoja sešus uzvarētājus Eiropas Savienības (ES) un Ukrainas aizsardzības inovācijas iniciatīvas "BraveTech EU" pirmajā posmā, un starp tiem ir arī Latvijas uzņēmums "Rannon", informē EAA.

"Rannon" izstrādā reaktīvo munīciju dronu savstarpējām gaisa kaujām.

Pārējie pieci uzņēmumi, kas pārvarējuši "BraveTech EU" pirmo posmu, ir Francijas "Soraccel", Polijas "EdgeX Robotics", Vācijas "Smaesh GmbH", Somijas "Kova Labs" un Igaunijas "Tempterno Defence".

"BraveTech EU" pirmajā posmā tika organizētas intensīvas tehnoloģiju testēšanas nometnes, kas palīdzēja šiem uzņēmumiem pilnveidot savus inovatīvos risinājumus.

Nākamajā šīs iniciatīvas posmā EAA atbalstīs uzņēmumus, lai tie turpinātu attīstīt savas tehnoloģijas un pārbaudītu tās kaujas laukam līdzīgā vidē.

"BraveTech EU" otrajā posmā tiks izraudzītas četras progresīvākās tehnoloģijas, kuru izmēģinājumi turpināsies 2027. gadā.

EK un Ukraina 2025. gada jūlijā paziņoja par "BraveTech EU" - kopīgu ES un Ukrainas iniciatīvu, kuras mērķis ir paātrināt aizsardzības inovācijas, izmantojot ciešāku sadarbību.

"BraveTech EU" apvieno Eiropas Aizsardzības fondu, ES aizsardzības inovācijas shēmu un Ukrainas aizsardzības tehnoloģiju platformu "BRAVE1", lai izveidotu vienotu sistēmu inovatīvu aizsardzības risinājumu kopīgai izstrādei, testēšanai un ieviešanai.

RANNON is one of six winners of the inaugural BraveTech EU Phase I

On July 13th, the awards were presented to the winning teams at the EU-UA Defence Industry Forum in Kyiv by Andrius Kubilius, the European Commissioner for Defence and Space.

RANNON received a money prize and the opportunity to work with the European Defence Agency under the next BraveTech EU Phase II to further develop product.

In June, RANNON took part in the 1st edition of BraveTech EU in Estonia. RANNON’s cUAV product was field-tested, and several integrations with other defense products were implemented.

RANNON to Participate in the EU-Ukraine Defence Industry Forum

RANNON will be attending the EU-Ukraine Defence Industry Forum in Kyiv, Ukraine in July 2026. CEO Andrejs Pukitis will be present at the event and available for meetings and discussions.

This participation follows a productive summer period focused on rapid prototyping and field testing conducted in collaboration with the Latvian and Estonian armed forces.

RANNON participated in the BraveTechEU DefTech Forges in Estonia

In June 2026 RANNON participated in the first edition of the BraveTechEU DefTech Forges in Estonia, having been selected alongside a distinct group of 17 defense innovators from the EU and Ukraine.

The team of RANNON conducted field tests with seven rocket launches under operational conditions with the Estonian Defence Forces.

The event served as a valuable environment for us to achieve several key technical milestones:

UAV Integration: We further validated the system's compatibility and performance when integrated with different unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including ones from the DK Unity and DK NEJET, and Haigur Technologies.

System Interoperability: We successfully integrated our rocket system with a remote initiation system by RSI Europe and an autonomous precise payload delivery system "Big Fast Orca".

Combat-Informed Validation: Direct feedback from a Ukrainian Defense Force serviceman allowed us to ensure our system is an effective cUAV measure for Ukraine.

We appreciate the work done by the Dark Star, Civitta, and Starburst to facilitate this event.

RANNON Concludes Successful Participation at Eurosatory 2026

RANNON conducts field tests in June 2026

On June 1st, we tested our rocket launcher on an airborne platform for the first time. During the test we launched 4 rockets from a moving and flying quadcopter drone. All rockets had nominal ignition and flight, proving our rigorous model-based approach to design. Additionally it was a test of our ability to quickly adapt and integrate with a drone from a partner company. Last but not least, we also tested and rehearsed our operating and safety procedures. This marks a huge step for us and allows us to continue with developing the aiming and targeting system, as well as further improving the fly-out accuracy. The results from this test enable pushing forward with more dynamic and realistic testing scenarios.

Field tests were conducted in June 2026 in partnership with the DK Unity. Thanks to the Latvian National Armed Forces for providing a testing polygon.
